My verdict
The Kiiroo FeelStroker-series of sleeves and the Keon automated stroker machine are the ultimate in hands-free masturbation. But until now, they were lacking in one thing: suction.
It’s like jumping from 2D to 3D, adding a whole other dimension to your masturbation.
- Pros
- 1. Feels mind-blowingly good.
- 2. Suction is a great touch to your Kiiroo sleeves.
- Cons
- 1. None!
About the product
The Kiiroo PowerBlow is a modular upgrade that sits on top of compatible sleeves and adds an interactive suction experience. It can be used with just a FeelStroker sleeve if you prefer manual stroking or humping it between some pillows, or combined with the amazing interactive Keon automated stroker machine for the ultimate automated masturbation and blowjob simulator.
Performance
The PowerBlow comes in a couple of pieces that you’ll use to modify your FeelStar stroker case slightly (nothing destructive, though). Basically, unscrew the top and bottom, then pull out the stroker and base ring. Insert the vacuum ring plastic piece; this ensures a vacuum is created internally, and it won’t just suck air from around the base.
You can fit the sleeve and base ring back at this point. If you have a number of compatible sleeves, just keep one case for use with the PowerBlow and swap out the sleeves—there’s no difference with the case. Otherwise, the modifications are just there to ensure it’s airtight and will function optimally.
To turn on the PowerBlow, first make sure it’s been fully charged, then hold down the button on top for about four seconds. It automatically starts in interactive or Bluetooth mode. Hold it for another second to go to manual mode, and another second for automatic mode.
Design
Manual mode—indicated by a white light—lets you use the up and down buttons on the side to create or release suction. That’s it. To be honest I would skip right over this mode, and instead hold down the power button for another second until it turns pink, then you’re in automatic mode. Here, the arrow buttons on the side adjust the strength of suction, and it cycles the same pattern over and over. By default, it’s limited to 50% of the total possible suction power as a safety measure. If you want more, you need to unlock it via the app—but really, you should be using the app anyway; it’s a waste of the interactive function otherwise.
You’ll need to download the FeelConnect app, and make sure the PowerBlow is flashing blue to indicate Bluetooth mode. If you just have the PowerBlow and not the Keon as well, you can go ahead and connect it to the app, then explore all the interactive features. For this kind of play, I found the pattern designer to be the most interesting part, allowing me to create short, strong suction, or long, slow suction time followed by short release.
You can also head to your favorite supported streaming site, pair it with your device, and watch interactive scenes that instruct your PowerBlow how to react. But, honestly, the simple nature of the suction alone doesn’t make for a particularly interesting sensation when used interactively. You’re better off just placing it in automatic mode and using it with any of your favorite porn.
But, the PowerBlow really shines when used as a modular upgrade for your Kiiroo Keon, the automated stroker. Although you can technically connect both to the FeelConnect app, it’ll prompt you to allow the Keon to control the PowerBlow, and I’d recommend doing that. Now you use the Keon as you would with any interactive content through the app, and the PowerBlow will work away in the background. If you don’t care about interactive porn scripts, the manual control mode is also super easy to use, so you can dynamically adjust the speed and stroke length as well as the suction amount.
Others
The FeelConnect app isn’t the only way to interact with your Keon and PowerBlow. For use in VR, the SexLikeReal (SLR) app is the easiest way to go, either desktop or sideloaded to the Quest 3. It offers a simple interface to browse videos and a library full of interactive scripts. However, because the Kiiroo Keon is a Bluetooth-only device, you’ll need to use another smartphone app called Haptics Connect (iOS, Android) to act as a Wi-Fi to Bluetooth middleman.
For those with a PC who don’t mind a bit of DIY, Intiface acts as a middleman between hundreds of interactive games, websites, and video players. Getting Intiface running and recognizing the Keon is easy enough, but the compatible apps can be trickier.
Note that when used with SLR, Intiface, or other unofficial apps, the PowerBlow isn’t connected to the Keon or used interactively, so you’ll need to swap it into automatic mode and manually activate it.
Experience
How Does the PowerBlow Feel?
Amazing.
I mean, beyond the obvious of it feels like something is actually sucking on your manhood, I found it’s great for getting you hard at the start of a session—which I can often struggle with when it involves the titillating task of pairing Bluetooth devices, fiddling with a VR headset, ensuring the app is running, etc.
But the PowerBlow suction combined with the Keon’s automatic stroking is a game changer and easily makes this the best automatic and scriptable stroker out there—for now, anyway. At around $70 for a suction upgrade, I think the Powerblow is a fantastic buy if you already have a Keon. If you don’t, wait for a bundle sale; you’ll get a great deal.
Any downsides?
Like the Keon, you’ll need to keep it charged between uses, and it can lose charge if you leave it for a while. So now you have two devices with batteries to worry about. The PowerBlow battery should last about three hours, but that’ll depend on the intensity of how you use it. I would just charge it alongside the Keon to be safe—but annoyingly, the power blow uses USB-C; the Keon uses micro USB.
And there’s still the inevitable faffing around with Bluetooth. If you stick to the Feel Connect app and supported streaming sites, it’s seamless, but sometimes I wish someone would create an AI program or something that would automatically scan your devices over Bluetooth and then come up with interesting uses for them. Actually, now that I say that, the FeelMe AI service is pretty much exactly that and works with nearly all streaming video sites, but it’s a premium subscription service, and I don’t really want more subscriptions in my life.
Are there any competitors to the PowerBlow? Absolutely…
We’ve seen cheap all-in-one sleeves with suction before, but those typically lack any interactive element; they dont stroke automatically, and some have a horrid buzzy vibrator. The sleeve part isn’t replaceable either, so you’ll need to buy a whole toy. The FeelStar strokers and PowerBlow has the edge on those, any day—combined with Keon automated stroker, there isn’t an affordable device that compares.
The closest comparison to the PowerBlow with Keon is a DIY project called the OSR2+, a 2-axis stroker robot with various upgrades, including suction and spinning. You’ll either need a 3DC printer and be handy with your soldering skills, or buy a pricier ready-made unit.
The F-Machine Tremblr offers more powerful suction, creating it’s own stroking action, but it’s three times the price and not interactive. Having reviewed both, I much prefer the Keon and PowerBlow.
The PowerBlow is a simple but effective upgrade for any compatible FeelStar strokers, and even better with a Kiiroo Keon automated stroker. I can highly recommend it as an essential upgrade. 10/10: Buy now.
