- Duration of use210 minutes
- Charging time120 minutes
- Pros
- The Travel Setting helps avoid accidentally turning it on in your bag, your drawer or where ever!
- IPX7 waterproof rating allows you to feel like a Queen in the shower, the bath, or the Jacuzzi! ;P
- Guesstimate of 30 vibration settings, each more powerful than the last! Definitely wets your engine!
- Super easy to clean! Duration use is longer than the charging time!
- Two buttons allow the vibration settings to be increased and decreased!
- Cons
- Not enough vibration in the longer end of the sceptre! Makes my fingers tingle more than my insides!
- IMHO: The rounded end is too large. I don't need something that big to stimulate a small area!
If you want the ride of your life pick up a Swan Sceptre AKA The Gearshift! With a guesstimation of 30 settings, this device will surely have you feeling like a Queen in no time.
With a duration use longer than its charge time, two buttons that allow you to increase and decrease those powerful vibrations, a travel lock setting, a large and very powerful orb that covers all the areas, and a long handle for penetration use... you'll be feeling like royalty 'til the day you sing your Swan song!
Of the two Swan products I've received, this isn't quite my cup of tea.
Don't get me wrong, it has some lovely features!
- The clitoral stimulation of the rounded end of the Sceptre is top-notch!
- The fact that there are two buttons that actually let me increase and decrease the settings is awesome!
- Travel Lock is brilliant!
- Longer use time than charging time is awesome, even though I never need more than 10 minutes with any of my devices to reach satisfaction.
What irks me is:
- How bland the handle feels when used as a penetration toy. I'd like to feel more of that powerful vibration.
- The rounded end is NOT insert friendly in my nether region. A bit too bulbous for my liking.
With those points you'd think the good would outweigh the bad and I'd really like it, but given that the Era Wand allows for easy penetration with the intense vibrating head and is a better travel companion, I don't really see the need for a device like this in my collection as I have others that do the job a bit better. However, this toy is definitely a must-have if your collection isn't as expansive as mine!
Pictured are two Swan wand beauties right next to each other. Check out the Swan Era review to see my thoughts on that cute little blue buddy!
The packaging is a sturdy/protective book style encasement with a magnetic clasp, all wrapped in a beautiful oil painting style design. The front is adorned with an angelic design around the product picture, while the back features an inviting synopsis of the product. Unlike other products that showcase them a bit more, the product features information is a subtle 6 point list provided under the synopsis on the back in 6 different languages. Other than that the package is adorned with just the product name/company and two simple quotes.
Personally, though I feel the packaging is quite elegant, it's still one I would have to debate on whether or not I'd feel comfortable walking up to a checkout with since everything about it screams that it's a sensual product. That being said, I love the sturdiness of the box and despite the design could see it being used as a keepsake box of sorts.
**** For those that read the Swan Era Wand Review this is going to look identical, and that's because it is since the products were packaged the same. ****
Inside the package: The product itself wrapped in a protective/reusable plastic bag and then encased in a lovely white satin pouch; a user guide; a thank you card; and a charger!
I like the extra care of packaging the toy in a sturdy resealable plastic bag, the sturdiness of it makes me feel I could use it as a stand alone case option instead of the satin bag. Oddly, it seems perfect for airport travel as it's contained but visible!
The thank you is an awesome touch as it not only gives you insight into the company, the founder and the product but it makes you feel appreciated as part of the reason why the journey continues. :)
All of the toys I've used up to this point increase their vibrations one button press at a time. The variation among them is whether the desired setting is reach by: continuously cycling through the amount of settings one click at a time in order to reach the one before; turning the device off and cycling through the specified amount to the desired one; or having another button that allows the user to switch back and forth.
For example, the Satisfyer Mission Control toy has 11 air pulses and 12 vibrations, if I like the #8 air pulse and the #12 vibration I can get to those quite easily, just turn the device on and click 'til I reach those numbers. For the air pulse settings I have the added luxury of toggling up or down, while the vibration settings can be used as a continuous cycle through or a stop and start again.
The Swan line introduced a whole new style of increasing the vibrations and I'm not sure I'm a fan of it.
The Swan Sceptre seems to have about 30 settings, compared to the Swan Era Wand with potentially 25 settings, at least from what I could tell after fiddling around with it and attempting to count the blinks.
Regardless, it's quite difficult to just singularly click through as one quick press of the bottom button completely turns the device off, and one quick press of the top button does nothing. In order to move to the next setting the user must hold the button and let it climb.... HOWEVER...
Unlike the Swan Era Wand, which has only one button, the bottom button on the Swan Sceptre allows for the user to actually decrease the settings when held and have an easier time trying to walk the device back into the right setting.
The vibrations of the Swan Sceptre are quite insane, a few moments into holding the device while it's on its highest setting left my fingers tingling. When laid down, while on the highest setting, it sounds like a snowblower entered the room lol. There's no real denying someone's trying to drive to pleasure town using this as the gear shift. xD
The Swan Sceptre has a wonderful feature called the Travel Lock. This features allows the product to shake, rattle, and roll about your luggage, drawer, or where ever it may be without accidentally turning on and wasting the pleasure on nothing!
To activate this feature simply hold the two buttons for 4 seconds or until the device vibrates two times. Once this feature is activated you will notice that either button can be pressed but nothing happens. To turn off this feature simply repeat the process and enjoy! :)

Size - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Sceptre: Quite cumbersome, not as easy to hide or travel with.
- Swan Era Wand: Perfect travel companion due to its small stature, easy to store and hide.
Vibration Settings - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Sceptre - Guesstimate of 30 settings, powerful, feels great, but is super obnoxious when on highest setting and laid down.
- Swan Era Wand - Guesstimate of 25 settings, powerful, feels great, and isn't obnoxious when on highest setting and laid down.
Penetration Ability - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Sceptre - From a personal standpoint: The rounded end is not insert friendly for my nether region at all, waaaaaay too big. The lack of vibration in the longer end makes it a bit boring to use. I've learned during this journey that if I'm going to use a penetration toy, I prefer a vibrating one not a plain do nothing dildo, if that's the case I'd rather use my fingers or an actual penis lol.
- Swan Era Wand - Small stature allows for easy and enjoyable penetration
Ease of Use Regarding Vibration Settings - Swan Sceptre Wins
- Swan Sceptre - Two button operation makes finding the right vibration setting a bit easier as the second button allows for the vibrations to be decreased so the device doesn't need turned off to be reset.
- Swan Era Wand - Single button operation makes finding the right vibration setting a bit cumbersome since it's a hold to increment, caps at the top and needs turned off to reset from the start style use.
Ease of Use General Sense - Swan Era Wand Wins - Personal Preference
- Swan Sceptre - Large vibration head, easy to handle, encompasses larger area, and the handle can be used as dildo.
- Swan Era Wand - Small vibration head, easy to handle, easier to focus, and penetration use with full vibration feel.
Overall Winner by Personal Preference - Swan Era Wand!
