This is a very entry-level toy so it's best to set expectations low. Lovehoney designed this to offer two different experiences. This stroker is not silicone and I don't think TPE. I'm not quite sure the material exactly but it's not very soft and it's not very elastic. Lovehoney lists the material as "soft plastic". Let's be real, it's not a premium toy like a Fleshlight. I didn't expect it to be anywhere near the material quality. However, I was intrigued by the reversible design offering two different sensations. Starting with the default (how it was shipped) sensation. The exterior of the stroker is a ribbed design. The interior is a unique design, Lovehoney describes it as "soft finger-like fronds". The end of the stroker has a small hole so that you can technically control a level of suction, but it's going to be all or none more than likely.
The interior length of the stroker comes in at around 5.5" while the opening diameter is 1". The "soft plastic" material does stretch but not as much as a softer TPE you'd commonly find with more expensive toys. So this might be a tight fit for some. I was surprised at my attempt to invert the toy for the reversible design, it wasn't so easy given the limited elasticity. It's certainly doable but it can be a bit of a struggle.
It's a relatively straight-forward design that speaks for itself. A stroker that will be quick to lube up and go to town.

OK, so how does it perform... With a water-based lubricant, it's easy enough to penetrate given the unsealed end design. The material does not stretch extremely easily but it does stretch, although it is a tighter fit (for anyone above average girth, this would be expected). I started with the "soft finger-like fronds" interior design. I was rather surprised that I felt practically no pleasure from this stroker. I didn't have high expectations but it literally did not feel good. Almost irritating. I was surprised as usually even with a inexpensive basic-designed toy you can still find some amount of pleasure, but this was just not enjoyable at all. I wouldn't say painful, but almost irritating is the best word to describe the experience.
Reversing the stroker didn't offer much pleasure either. At least the ribbed side wasn't irritating, but it was simply too basic of a design to offer much pleasure. A lot of this likely comes down to the material quality. It's not very soft or elastic. I'd rather use my hand at that point, and that probably says quite a bit!
Overall not a pleasant experience but again this is a very entry-level toy. This might be more enjoyable to someone with average to below-average girth. This is not a "one size fits all" type of toy.

I can't say this toy is high quality. It's entry-level and the material probably won't last very long. Given that it's not very elastic, it's going to be prone to rips/tears if paired along side someone with above average girth. Likely even from just inverting the toy on a regular basis. I didn't feel comfortable with the reversible design as it took a bit of force to invert it.

This toy can be found in the range of $20-30. It's inexpensive and a low risk investment. You won't be spending a lot of money on a toy like this so don't feel bad if it doesn't offer a great experience.

Using a water-based lube is necessary with a non-silicone toy. It was easy enough to clean and dry given that the stroker can be inverted. Beyond that, there's not much else to worry about.
