My verdict
It took me five minutes, with instructions in hand, to discover how to ignite the device. Hold for three seconds to turn on, click gently to switch between settings. The lights are subtle, so that’s nice. The power was way more than any of my off-brand Hitachi wands or previous bullet vibrators. It has no bells and whistles. No remote. Not even a handle to relieve some of the intense power from reaching my hands.
My skin felt the vibrations without actually touching the device, so playing with the settings and the physical placement allowed a diverse range of sensations. I feel like this toy has three ideal settings: in a sleeve or other holder (and its intense power would allow this and not have its effectiveness dampened), as a toy to tease or torture a partner, or for discretion, something to sneak to work or toss in a suitcase.
I lament that these types of vibrating toys never have a way to track what setting you are on, and as far as I can tell, this toy does not. You are left to count and listen to the various noise patterns to determine which settings you are and find your favorites.
For solo insertion, this toy seems too small to hold and the completely smooth shape means if you want to dip inside you better have practice with jade eggs and other Kegel-style “exercisers.” The force of the device seems to muddy where the toy impacts sensation more, on the hand or on the target. There is a technique, if you balance the vibrator like a top or a driedel, using only minimal pressure from one finger, that you can enjoy the toy solo without the heavy aftershocks in the hands.
The size of this little guy leads me to explore if I can find new uses for it… So while it may not be practical and for immediate needs, it certainly inspires my creativity. With some stores offering this toy at $18 (Walmart), this toy provides more power and enjoyment than expected, I will probably save it for play at an unexpected unexpected place and time, not in the bedroom.

About the product
The first of my Yuletide blessings arrived last night in a package from Maia Novelties— the Jessi rechargeable mini-bullet vibrator. It’s a mighty three-inches long and deliciously soft silicone. It comes with a one-year warranty and lists itself on the box as submersible. The design has only one small seam in the device and both the power button and the charging port are covered by a thick sheath, that I fight (unsuccessfully) the urge to call its foreskin.
Only three things come in the box: the vibrator, the charging cord, and thank you cards/instructions in Spanish/English.
Now, I am a woman of many talents, but anything mechanical lies outside my skills. I unpacked the cord and plugged it into a traditional USB port. (These ports are becoming less common, so the reliance of manufacturers on the most recent computer technology for charging seems to date a toy’s lifespan. Luckily, the charging station on my desk has USB, because my laptop has moved on to USB-C.)
I studied the device and the photos on the card, and I dickered with the power button/foreskin. But I could not find the female end for my charging cord. I read the directions closer. “Puncture the toy/silicone charging port with the charging cable… It is okay if you feel some resistance.” So, it looks like to preserve the watertight aspects of the toy, you just penetrate right through the soft silicone power button.
Design
This vibrator is small, sleek, and soft. It is very plain and has a variety of appealing colors.
Experience
The intensity of the product was a double-edged sword for solo play as the same power that makes it effect the skin without actually touching only causes feedback into the hands.
Quality
At the price point, it seems very good quality for the price. I have paid more for less in the past.
Price
I saw this product listed at Walmart for $18 and at specialty retailers for as much as $30. I think it packs a powerful punch at that price point.
Performance
This product has more settings and power than I expected.
Packaging
The packaging allowed full view of the product without opening and offered company information, like socials, and basic information about the product itself in a tiny box. The box is efficiently packed and organized and the instructions straightforward.
Special feature
The ease of one-button use was handy once you got used to it.
Charging Port
This was a little confusing-- you literally have to penetrate the power button with the cord to charge. (Photo also shows the instruction card.)
