If I wanted to speak Morse Code, I’d buy a Ham radio, not a vibrator. Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautifully designed, high-quality vibrating wand. However, I have a very specific personal issue with this toy. The wand has 20 patterns, and while I appreciate that each pattern is nuanced and probably appeals to users who have been looking for that specific “dot dot dash” vibration, I could have done without 18 of them. For me, the first and eighteenth vibration patterns are the ones I want. And I’d love to be able to start with one, go to the other, and go back and forth until I’m tired. But I can’t do that with the Ava VIVVO Wand because I have to cycle through all the patterns to find the right one. And because they’re all so similar, I easily miss the one I’m looking for and have to cycle through all 20 again. This probably sounds so petty, but when you need that little shift in vibration, you don’t want to click through 17 that are just “meh.” I think this part of the design is bothersome enough to ruin the toy entirely.

Flex it, stick it, switch it, vibe it! Dyso's Dysoflex is flexible in more ways than one, not only in its function but in its fun! As a trangender man, vibrators are one of the most important parts of solo and partnered play for me. Price has also been a struggle for me in regard to toys, with even the smallest bullet vibrators you can find in stores being $20-$30; as a broke college student, it can be a bit difficult to come up with this money! Usually a toy so cheap would be suspicious, but this toy has been just as good if not better than $20 bullet vibrators I've tried in the past. The Amazon listing does say "for women", but this toy is definitely a good idea for anyone. The packaging was discreet, and didn't have any gendering. That's been an issue I've had in the past for most toys designed for AFAB individuals, the packaging is often worded as if it's only for cisgender women, and uses "feminine" color schemes. For trans and queer individuals, this could be a put-off, as dysphoria is a huge turn-off. This wasn't an issue at all with this vibrator!
