My verdict
This classic toy from TENGA is an oldie but a goodie! You'll appreciate this if you're looking for something discreet, fun, and easy. The whole experience is quick and effortless. If you want a toy to start the fun immediately, then this is for you. The toy's internal texture was decent. It wasn't anything special, but that's okay in my opinion. For the price point and the amount of effort involved, I can't complain.
- Pros
- 1. Pre-lubricated, get into the fun right away.
- 2. Disposable for easy cleaning.
- 3. Internal texture is decent enough.
- Cons
- 1. Constantly "pushed" me out of the toy.
- 2. Might be too tight for some.
About the product
The original vacuum cup is a disposable toy from Japanese sex toy brand TENGA. This toy is pre-lubricated and disposable so that there's no cleaning or setup involved. A hole on top of the toy allows you to play with its suction by covering it with your finger.
Design
The toy has a nice design. It's somewhat discreet. I'm sure anyone who's familiar with masturbators will recognize this as one, but to those unfamiliar, they might not give it a second look.
The orifice is simple. It's a tight hole that's waiting for you to enter.
The case is easy to hold and it's great for stroking. You can easily get some grip on the little notch in the middle of the toy.
There's an open hole at the end of the toy that's covered with a sticker. You can remove the sticker to adjust suction on the fly. That feature adds some fun to the experience!
Experience
I opened the toy and was happy to see just how well-lubricated it already was. I hesitated a bit before entering, as I wasn't sure if it was enough lube. I didn't even put any on myself. I decided to go into it and was surprised at how easy it was. It was lubricated enough to last me the whole session!
I did notice that the toy was EXTREMELY tight. It actually kept on pushing me out, which was interesting. If I wasn't actively stroking, the toy moved up and away from my body. It was a weird feeling to be "kicked out" of a stroker. It did encourage me to keep stroking in order to stay inside of the toy.
The texture was pretty decent. Nothing special. A bunch of ridges and nubs. The end of the toy opened up a bit, which allowed my head to comfortably rest while I held the toy against me.
My favorite section of the toy was the middle of it. You can see three oval-shaped chambers in the photo, and those were great! Extremely stimulating, much more than the rest of the sleeve.
Now, this texture was NOT anything mind-blowing. But did it make me cum? Oh, yeah.
Quality
This toy was decent. The case didn't feel cheap or too thin, which is a problem with a lot of clones. The lube was surprisingly high-quality. The sleeve was soft and squishy, which is great. Not as sturdy as a Fleshlight or Kiiroo sleeve, but still acceptable. I didn't feel like I could break this toy.
Price
This toy is so budget-friendly! It's only nine bucks, which is awesome. But, since you're supposed to dispose of it after, you will only get one session out of this. A typical Fleshlight costs around 70-80 dollars. You can get 7 or 8 vacuum cups or invest in a Fleshlight for more than 8 sessions (if you take care of it).
But I do admit, the lack of effort you need to put in this TENGA cup is really nice. You don't have to do anything but throw it away.
Packaging
I ordered this toy as part of a haul on Amazon. I can't really speak to the packaging of it if you were to order it by itself, but I'd imagine your experience to be similar to mine. They just threw the cup in my box with nothing else. I was okay with that.
Materials and care
This product's "maintenance" is almost non-existent. I just threw it away. Not a care in the world after I had my orgasm. It was so nice to just be DONE for once. I usually have to spend a few minutes on clean-up.
If you really enjoy this toy, then that might make you a little sad though. I tried removing the sleeve from the case for research purposes, and I found it to be almost impossible without doing some damage to the toy. It seems like the sleeve and the case are attached. You can't really run your finger inside with a towel on, either. The tunnel is so tight.
I loved that I was able to throw this toy away and forget about it, but others might wish to prolong their experience through cleaning.
