My verdict
I wish I could recommend these. They’re so cute, the texture is unique and stimulating, and the diamond on the tail is sexy. However, they’re definitely not a beginner butt plug, and as someone who’s familiar with anal toys, I wouldn’t choose these. The main issue is that the stem of the plug isn't tapered and is very small. Designers do this to ensure a snug fit for the plug. Given that there are three size options included in this kit, I don’t think a snug fit is a problem at all, which makes this design choice feel careless more than anything. No tapering on the stem means they glide in smoothly since the head is your typical shape, but they stretch you suddenly on the way out because the area resting in your entrance is considerably smaller than the end of the plug. So, if you’re just starting out with anal play, these will probably be an uncomfortable way to start. If they were silicone, they’d have a little more give and be gentler on the body. Metal is a hard medium to begin with and requires some time and practice to get used to. If you’re really comfortable with anal play and have used similar plugs, these might be great for you - ignore my issues with the stem design. My worry would be that a beginner would tear or get turned off from backdoor play entirely by them. Overall, I don't recommend these, but you know your body better than anyone.
Pros
Diamond on the end is really cute
The texture is interesting
Cons
Poor design
Design

These plugs are designed to look like diamonds, matching the sparkling gem in the handle. They’re made from durable aluminum alloy that’s easy to clean and maintain. The edges of each facet are smooth and reflect light like a disco ball. The only change I would make is tapering the end toward the handle to avoid tearing or unnecessary stretching. Luckily, you can use water-based or silicone lubricant with metal. I do not think these were truly designed with beginners in mind. They’re oversimplified and choose sparkle over comfort.

Experience

At first, I was really turned on by the metal; it was cool, textured, and really exciting. I started by using the smallest size with an oil-based lubricant. I usually stick to silicone plugs, so this was a fun experiment. I put the medium plug in the fridge for added sensation, it cooled down quickly and I sized up. You definitely have to use lubricant anytime you pick up an anal toy, and I think especially with metal plugs. Silicone has more give and glides easier, and it works with your body. On the other hand, your body has to fit around metal, which took some getting used to. Both plugs glided in easily, my first problem came with retrieving the small plug, this is when I noticed the issue with the stem. Once the medium plug was inserted, I forgot all about my problems and had some fun. I usually like to move them around a little to apply more pressure or change stimulation, but the large round handle didn’t make this easy. Also, because of the thin stem connecting the plug to the handle, they’re uncomfortable to pull in and out. Honestly, taking the medium-sized one out at the end of my session was painful. It felt fine going in because of the taper, but the stem is missing that. Possibly, with more practice, this can feel better and even good, but I didn’t like it and that experience was enough to turn me off from these plugs entirely.

Quality

The materials feel high quality and easy to maintain. They’re made of strong, durable aluminum alloy, giving them a nice weight that heightens sensation.

Price

Priced at $30, these are in the low range of your typical beginner butt plug set. I imagine it's because of their material and simplicity. If that’s your jam, they’re a great buy.

Performance

Practice and lube make perfect with these plugs. If you plan to wear them longer than 30 minutes, try silicone plugs instead, as they are gentler on your body.

Packaging

The box they come in is sleek and black, very discreet. There's a foam mold inside the box that holds them in place. Overall, it’s a cute little packing/storage box.

Materials and care

Made with durable metal, these plugs can easily be washed using antibacterial soap and hot water.

  • Bgood Classic Vibrator: Gotta Love a Classic

Whoa. That baby purrs. I don’t know what screw is loose or if it’s a genius classic design, but the vibrations from Bgood Classic purr. That’s the only word for it. It feels almost like there's space between the motor and the walls of the toy, letting the vibrations reverberate through. It makes the vibrations feel deep and sensual. Not to mention, this toy has horsepower. Bgood was not playing around when they made this toy. My only critique would be that I wish it was easier to turn off and that the materials were slightly higher quality. It’s a little on the loud side, which I don’t mind–I live alone, so it’s fine. But it’s strong and loud, and when you’re done, it’s not fun to fumble around. If the materials were higher quality, it might feel more luxurious and have a longer battery life. It has five vibration settings, though the lowest intensity is still pretty strong. Overall, it’s a lot of fun.

  • Iroha Stick: Kitschy but Effective

The Iroha Stick has a shocking amount of power and is cleverly designed. But it’s too gimmicky for my taste. Overall, it’s a simple mini bullet vibrator designed to look like lipstick. I don’t think it’s fooling anyone, although if someone found it in my bag, it might take them a moment to realize. The head of the stick is angled like lipstick but has a small fork like a snake's tongue at its end. The angle and fork really elevate the toy as a whole. The Stick packs a punch, it can ramp up quite a bit. I’d say the equivalent of a three or a four on a regular-sized toy. It is battery powered and claims to be waterproof–I’ll get into that later in the review. For what it is, a lipstick vibrator, it’s great. We all have our own kitsch thing that will always get our attention. Lipstick vibrators aren’t mine, so I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this one again. However, it would be a fun gift for a bachelorette party or something similar!

  • Iroha Koharu Beni: Cute but Boring

The Iroha Koharu Beni is nothing special. It’s your average battery powered vibrator. There’s nothing about it that stands out to me as noteworthy. It’s decently powerful, which is always nice. The shape is interesting, I haven’t seen something exactly like it before. But that’s the problem, really. I’ve seen a lot of vibrators similar to this, some of which stood out for their design, comfort, or quality, but the Koharu Beni is just okay. It’s one saving grace is it’s flexible head, though it isn’t as elastic as a flexible head should be. It’ll get the job done, but when you’re looking for a vibrator, you want to get something indulgent and luxurious. You want freshly baked sourdough that crunches on the outside and is soft on the inside. You don’t want store brand white bread. This baby pink, battery-powered stick vibrator is the store brand white bread of vibrators.

  • Ava VIVVO Massage Wand: Impatient Need Not Apply

If I wanted to speak Morse Code, I’d buy a Ham radio, not a vibrator. Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautifully designed, high-quality vibrating wand. However, I have a very specific personal issue with this toy. The wand has 20 patterns, and while I appreciate that each pattern is nuanced and probably appeals to users who have been looking for that specific “dot dot dash” vibration, I could have done without 18 of them. For me, the first and eighteenth vibration patterns are the ones I want. And I’d love to be able to start with one, go to the other, and go back and forth until I’m tired. But I can’t do that with the Ava VIVVO Wand because I have to cycle through all the patterns to find the right one. And because they’re all so similar, I easily miss the one I’m looking for and have to cycle through all 20 again. This probably sounds so petty, but when you need that little shift in vibration, you don’t want to click through 17 that are just “meh.” I think this part of the design is bothersome enough to ruin the toy entirely.

Passion Pal Challenger: App Controlled Butt Plug Review

The Passion Pal Challenger delivers a great balance of comfort and functionality. Its four-plus inches of insertable length hit all the right spots, while the rotating beads offer a unique twist that adds to the experience. The vibrating base provides unexpected and enjoyable external stimulation, and the stretchy cock rings fit comfortably without feeling too tight. Even after hours of wear, there’s no discomfort, and the plug stays securely in place, making it great for extended use. While I would have preferred more control over the rotating beads, the app is easy to use, and the vibrations are strong and precise. It’s also impressively quiet, making it ideal for discreet play. Overall, the Challenger is versatile, reliable, and delivers satisfying internal and external stimulation.

    Peanut Plug Set Review

The SinSaint Peanut Plug Set truly offers something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. The small, medium, and large sizes each provide unique experiences, allowing for a range of comfort and stimulation that caters to individual preferences. The small plug is an excellent starting point, offering a gentle introduction to anal play with its easy insertion and subtle presence. However, the thin and flexible material of the flared base along with its small diameter is slightly cause for concern. This size is one I would use for decoration or teasing and light stretching without leaving it in. For those seeking a bit more sensation, the medium plug strikes a balance between comfort and noticeable pressure, making it perfect for extended wear and daily activities. The large plug, while the most challenging to insert, delivers substantial pleasure and effective stretching, enhancing your readiness for more advanced play. Overall, the SinSaint Peanut plugs are well-crafted and versatile, blending comfort with pleasure. They are ideal for both pre-Funtime preparation and as standalone toys for those who enjoy a bit of stretch and stimulation. The final score was 70/90 giving the SinSaint Peanut Plug Set a rating of 7.5/10. If you're looking for reliable, enjoyable plugs that cater to different levels of experience, I would say the SinSaint Peanut series is definitely worth considering.

    Behind the Pleasure with CalExotics

If you’ve been curious about anal play but felt overwhelmed by the options, let me introduce you to the CalExotics X-10 Beads. These beads are designed to ease you into the experience with their gradual sizing and simple, effective design. The clever design allows you to start small (with some itty-bitty beads) and progress at your own pace (to the larger, more ball-like beads). The spacing between the beads offers plenty of room for movement without any slips, and their flexibility ensures they adapt naturally to your body. Talk about comfort! They're a low-risk, easy choice for anyone new to anal toys or looking for a gentler, more relaxed experience. One standout feature is the pull-out ring, which adds an extra layer of safety and control. Whether you’re using the beads solo or with a partner, the loop ensures a secure grip for smooth retrieval, so you can focus entirely on the sensations without any worries. It’s a small but crucial detail that makes the X-10 Beads especially beginner-friendly. More experienced users might find the smaller beads too subtle, but the larger ones deliver a satisfying “pop” sensation that makes the journey worthwhile. Their approachable size also makes them great for warm-ups or adding variety to partnered play. The PVC material, while body-safe and phthalate-free, is porous, so proper cleaning is essential. Wash with mild soap and warm water, or use a toy cleaner, to keep them hygienic. While I’d prefer silicone for its non-porous nature, the trade-off is understandable given the price. While they lack the intensity of larger or vibrating options, the X-10 Beads are a great pick for gentle exploration or mixing things up. Whether you’re dipping your toes into anal play or just looking for something low-key, these beads offer comfort and pleasure without breaking the bank.

B-Vibe Snug Plug 3 Review - Is it worth a buy?

So, is it worth a buy? If you’re a beginner, absolutely! The reasonably priced Snug Plug 3 is a fantastic choice to start with. Its smooth, rounded edges make insertion a breeze, and the premium silicone ensures it feels great for long-term wear. The 180g weighted balls inside the plug add a unique sense of fullness that’s satisfying without being overwhelming, even for extended use. The thin neck helps the plug stay securely in place, so there’s no need to worry about it slipping out unexpectedly. However, it doesn’t offer much in the way of girth training, so keep that in mind. My one issue was the grip handle—it felt a bit too wide and was the first spot where I noticed any discomfort. For more experienced users, the Snug Plug 3 might feel a bit small, as it did for me. But the good news is that the Snug Plug series comes in seven sizes. You can start small and work your way up to the Snug Plug 7, which features a hefty 600g of weighted balls and a diameter of 2.5 inches!

Nu Sensuelle Mini Plug - Mini size, Mighty Pleasure

The Nu Sensuelle Mini Plug is a small and compact anal toy that is sure to delight beginners and newcomers to back door play. The small and compact size of the Mini Plug is comfortable, but not without it's flaws. The Nu Sensuelle Mini Plug boasts 3 Different vibrating speeds, along with 12 Different pulsing and vibrating patterns, for a total of 15 total different play modes. While some of the pulsing and buzzing patterns are better than others, all of them bring some level of delight and pleasure. The smaller sleek design is made for comfort, but the length isn't quite enough to fully reach the prostate and give it that "Oh yeah!" factor. One of the bigger downsides, at least in my humble opinion, is the total battery length. This small device takes almost two hours to fully charge, and lasts anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes depending on which patterns or how intense of a vibration you decide. The one button design is easy to use, but you have to constantly press the button to cycle through each pattern, making it a little difficult to find the right pattern, as you have to keep cycling through, and have to completely cycle through and shut it off to start cycling through all over again. The flared base helps to make sure it doesn't get lost in your nether regions, however the rather skinny design doesn't help keep it in place, and often times I have had to reinsert it because the pattern or vibration caused it to slip out. The device itself isn't all together that loud, but can become louder with some of the more intense vibration and patterns. All in all this is a perfect little device for beginners, that is sure to delight for what it is.

Hanyunmy 16 Inch Anal Trainer Review

The Hanyunmy 16-inch Anal Trainer turned out to be a fantastic tool for enhancing my anal play experience. Its soft, flexible silicone and gradual bead design made insertion comfortable and allowed me to slowly increase depth and stretch my internal capacity. While it's not the largest trainer out there, it's perfect for anyone looking to explore longer toys and push their limits. The measurement guide etched into the silicone was a nice touch, making it easy to track my progress. The trainer’s ability to fold in on itself helped me go deeper without any discomfort, showing that it really does increase both depth and internal girth over time. Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your horizons, the Hanyunmy 16-inch Anal Trainer is a great choice to explore new sensations and take your pleasure to the next level. The Hanyunmy 16-Inch Anal Trainer scored 25/30, earning a solid rating of 4/5. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in anal training, whether you're just starting out or aiming to expand your experiences.
