This is a great beginner prostate toy, it's relatively small and very simple to use, and I would definitely recommend for anyone interested in getting into prostate stimulation!
This is a pretty small and unassuming little prostate toy. It's about an inch wide at the largest inserted section, which does make it larger than some of Aneros' other options like the Eupho, but it's still pretty easy to insert and good for beginners.
Design
The entire exterior is made of a black silicone, with one main bulbous body piece that is inserted and then two tabs that protrude at the base to stimulate the erogenous zones near the anus. The inserted piece has three sections that stimulate different regions internally, focusing on the prostate with a somewhat more aggressive angle than some of their other offerings. The two tabs have some flexibility but they are not adjustable like the new Psy model. The front tab is meant to apply some external prostate pressure, while the rear tab is called the "Kundalini" tab and is meant to provide some extra stimulation. The pair of tabs helps keeps the toy stabilized and in place nicely. Overall it's a very simple toy, and I think that's ideal.
Experience
As mentioned above, this is a pretty simple toy - just insert it and then you can either move it slightly manually to apply stimulation to just the right spot, or leave it pressed up against your prostate and let your muscles do the work. I will note you definitely need a good amount of lubrication, though the smooth silicone makes it very comfortable to insert. Specifically you will want to use a water or oil based lubricant, as a silicone based one could damage the toy. The body is about an inch wide at the largest section so you need to take your time slowly rubbing around the anus and gently inserting back and forth until your body sort of pulls it in, and the bottom inserted section is only quite narrow so it's comfortable to wear after the wider parts are inside you. The position your body is in will also make a difference as to how easy it is to insert - personally I used Aneros' recommend positioning of laying on your side with your bottom leg outstretched and top leg pulled towards your chest.
Once inserted, don't worry about the toy falling out, the tabs keeps it stabilized and the different sized sections inside ensure it won't move too far out of you. Now you can start slightly clenching or flexing the PC muscles makes the toy move around a little on it's own both back and forth and side to side for quite a bit of stimulation. The PC muscles are specifically the group of muscles you used to stop peeing, essentially you're doing kegels. This can take some time to get used to, and it's not going to be a mind blowing sensation at first. They key is really relaxing and letting it build, not trying to push the toy into your prostate for maximum pressure. It's a very unique sensation for anyone new to prostate stimulation and it definitely took me some time with a few different toys to learn that less is more. Once you get used to the motion by alternative flexing and relaxing the muscles you can try holding the flex for a while or using a rhythmic pattern to help build the stimulation. After some time you'll start to feel a tingling which for me feels similar to the building up of the beginning of a regular orgasm. While I have yet to reach the elusive hands free prostate orgasm, this is still a very nice sensation, and it adds a whole new dimension when paired with regular penis stimulation whether you are wearing it during sex or using another toy.

Price
Personally, I think the toy is a little overpriced at retail considering how small it is and how few "extra" features it has. But with frequent sales at various toy retailers I think if you get it for under $50 it's pretty good value for money. Aneros uses the highest quality FDA approved materials and even includes an Amazon Transparency barcode on the (very nice) packaging to ensure you're getting a real product. I think all of that peace of mind is worth it for a toy you're inserting into yourself, especially considering that are is a sensitive and permeable membrane.
Comparisons to other options
I personally found this to be a much easier option to start with compared to the famed Njoy Pure Wand (or Le Wand's similar options). The silicone body was personally more comfortable than metal because it doesn't require warming first (and isn't as jarring to insert if not pre-warmed), and it's softer. The toy is MUCH lighter which means you can use it for longer, and once inserted it's essentially hands free, while the Njoy/Le wand options require staying in one position or holding in place with your hands. You do have less customizability in how you stimulate the prostate though, the angle is set and once inserted there isn't a lot of play beyond using your muscles internally.
There also no vibrations like some other prostate toys, including Aneros' other offerings, and while that does offer another layer of stimulation, I find that vibrations can quickly numb the area and actually make it harder to find the sensations you're looking for. I'd recommend this more manual stimulation for a beginner, but having the option could be nice.
This is also a cheaper toy than many of the options listed above, coming in at near half the price of the metal wands mentioned and $30 cheaper than the vibrating version of the same toy, and I think that's worth noting.
Materials and care
Because the toy is made of silicone it is pretty easy to clean, just washing with an antibacterial soap is enough, though it might retain some smells. That's just a downside of using silicone, which is prone to retaining smells in any use case, but I think the pros outweigh the cons on that material choice. Another option that could help neutralize smells is soaking it in a diluted vinegar solution or (even more diluted) bleach solution and then thorough rinse with water after. Aneros advises against boiling to sterilize as this could deform the toy, which is unfortunate because heat would likely help with removing odors. Even if it retains smells after washing with antibacterial soap, it is safe to use, and considering where it'll be going on the next use I wouldn't worry too much.
This is an amazing stroker with incredibly soft TPE, and a great visual design modeled after Tru Kait. It offers a unique texture within that offers great stimulation especially focused on the head, but no parts are left out. Definitely one of Fleshlight's top options going forward.
Lovense doesn't make a lot of penis toys, but this one is a winner with a specific purpose. It's a solid vibrator that's great for edging, but don't expect it to get you over the edge without some extra help.
This is a water bottle shaped stroker complete with an extendable spout which means you can truly hide it in plain sight. It's unfortunately a little too firm and tight, and has minimal texture within which makes it hard to recommend outside of specific cases.
This is a rumbly and flexible prostate massager and vibrator that works incredibly well! It's not for beginners due to it's size, but if you work your way up, it can unlock a whole new kind of pleasure.
The Passion Pal Homie turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Its compact design, smooth silicone, and snug fit made it easy to wear for extended periods without any discomfort. The flared base added an extra layer of security, ensuring that it stayed firmly in place even during more active moments.
However, the Homie really shines when paired with its app. The built-in vibrations are good, but the app brings a whole new level of control and customization, making it a much more dynamic experience, whether solo or with a partner. And with how quiet it is, it’s perfect for discreet use, even in public settings.
While the battery life could be a bit longer, the quick charging time helps offset that issue. Overall, the Homie is a solid option for anyone looking for a versatile, app-controlled plug that’s both comfortable and discreet.
The SinSaint Peanut Plug Set truly offers something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. The small, medium, and large sizes each provide unique experiences, allowing for a range of comfort and stimulation that caters to individual preferences.
The small plug is an excellent starting point, offering a gentle introduction to anal play with its easy insertion and subtle presence. However, the thin and flexible material of the flared base along with its small diameter is slightly cause for concern. This size is one I would use for decoration or teasing and light stretching without leaving it in.
For those seeking a bit more sensation, the medium plug strikes a balance between comfort and noticeable pressure, making it perfect for extended wear and daily activities. The large plug, while the most challenging to insert, delivers substantial pleasure and effective stretching, enhancing your readiness for more advanced play.
Overall, the SinSaint Peanut plugs are well-crafted and versatile, blending comfort with pleasure. They are ideal for both pre-Funtime preparation and as standalone toys for those who enjoy a bit of stretch and stimulation. The final score was 70/90 giving the SinSaint Peanut Plug Set a rating of 7.5/10. If you're looking for reliable, enjoyable plugs that cater to different levels of experience, I would say the SinSaint Peanut series is definitely worth considering.
So, is it worth a buy?
If you’re a beginner, absolutely! The reasonably priced Snug Plug 3 is a fantastic choice to start with. Its smooth, rounded edges make insertion a breeze, and the premium silicone ensures it feels great for long-term wear. The 180g weighted balls inside the plug add a unique sense of fullness that’s satisfying without being overwhelming, even for extended use.
The thin neck helps the plug stay securely in place, so there’s no need to worry about it slipping out unexpectedly. However, it doesn’t offer much in the way of girth training, so keep that in mind. My one issue was the grip handle—it felt a bit too wide and was the first spot where I noticed any discomfort.
For more experienced users, the Snug Plug 3 might feel a bit small, as it did for me. But the good news is that the Snug Plug series comes in seven sizes. You can start small and work your way up to the Snug Plug 7, which features a hefty 600g of weighted balls and a diameter of 2.5 inches!
The Nu Sensuelle Mini Plug is a small and compact anal toy that is sure to delight beginners and newcomers to back door play. The small and compact size of the Mini Plug is comfortable, but not without it's flaws. The Nu Sensuelle Mini Plug boasts 3 Different vibrating speeds, along with 12 Different pulsing and vibrating patterns, for a total of 15 total different play modes. While some of the pulsing and buzzing patterns are better than others, all of them bring some level of delight and pleasure.
The smaller sleek design is made for comfort, but the length isn't quite enough to fully reach the prostate and give it that "Oh yeah!" factor. One of the bigger downsides, at least in my humble opinion, is the total battery length. This small device takes almost two hours to fully charge, and lasts anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes depending on which patterns or how intense of a vibration you decide.
The one button design is easy to use, but you have to constantly press the button to cycle through each pattern, making it a little difficult to find the right pattern, as you have to keep cycling through, and have to completely cycle through and shut it off to start cycling through all over again.
The flared base helps to make sure it doesn't get lost in your nether regions, however the rather skinny design doesn't help keep it in place, and often times I have had to reinsert it because the pattern or vibration caused it to slip out. The device itself isn't all together that loud, but can become louder with some of the more intense vibration and patterns. All in all this is a perfect little device for beginners, that is sure to delight for what it is.
If you’ve been curious about anal play but felt overwhelmed by the options, let me introduce you to the CalExotics X-10 Beads. These beads are designed to ease you into the experience with their gradual sizing and simple, effective design. The clever design allows you to start small (with some itty-bitty beads) and progress at your own pace (to the larger, more ball-like beads). The spacing between the beads offers plenty of room for movement without any slips, and their flexibility ensures they adapt naturally to your body. Talk about comfort! They're a low-risk, easy choice for anyone new to anal toys or looking for a gentler, more relaxed experience. One standout feature is the pull-out ring, which adds an extra layer of safety and control. Whether you’re using the beads solo or with a partner, the loop ensures a secure grip for smooth retrieval, so you can focus entirely on the sensations without any worries. It’s a small but crucial detail that makes the X-10 Beads especially beginner-friendly.
More experienced users might find the smaller beads too subtle, but the larger ones deliver a satisfying “pop” sensation that makes the journey worthwhile. Their approachable size also makes them great for warm-ups or adding variety to partnered play. The PVC material, while body-safe and phthalate-free, is porous, so proper cleaning is essential. Wash with mild soap and warm water, or use a toy cleaner, to keep them hygienic. While I’d prefer silicone for its non-porous nature, the trade-off is understandable given the price.
While they lack the intensity of larger or vibrating options, the X-10 Beads are a great pick for gentle exploration or mixing things up. Whether you’re dipping your toes into anal play or just looking for something low-key, these beads offer comfort and pleasure without breaking the bank.
These vibrating anal beads offer a great length of reach for anal play. The beads are comfortable and great upon insertion. The motors inside of this toy are incredibly firm and powerful.
The Passion Pal Challenger delivers a great balance of comfort and functionality. Its four-plus inches of insertable length hit all the right spots, while the rotating beads offer a unique twist that adds to the experience. The vibrating base provides unexpected and enjoyable external stimulation, and the stretchy cock rings fit comfortably without feeling too tight. Even after hours of wear, there’s no discomfort, and the plug stays securely in place, making it great for extended use.
While I would have preferred more control over the rotating beads, the app is easy to use, and the vibrations are strong and precise. It’s also impressively quiet, making it ideal for discreet play. Overall, the Challenger is versatile, reliable, and delivers satisfying internal and external stimulation.
The Fun Factory Booty Femme is a versatile and beginner-friendly butt plug designed for use during penetrative play. Its unique shape ensures comfort and security, with a longer end that stays nestled between the cheeks, allowing for seamless play without interference. It's made from body-safe silicone, making it easy to clean and compatible with water-based lube.
