Slim, Subtle, and Ready to Slip In 😉
When it comes to looks, the Jive isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel – and honestly, it doesn’t have to. What you get here is a classic egg-style wearable, dressed in a gorgeous matte blue that just looks sleek and feels even better in the hand.
It’s got that familiar two-part shape:
- The narrow tail stays outside the body and holds the power button
- A slim, flexible connector
- And the actual vibrating egg, which sits snugly inside during use
There’s a raised We-Vibe logo on the side – discreet, but present – and everything is made from body-safe silicone, free from phthalates, BPA, and latex. The outer material isn’t squishy or plush like some other toys we’ve tried, but it’s super smooth and gentle on the skin. It feels more like a satin finish – firm, but soft to the touch.
Built for Real-World Play
Size-wise, the Jive measures 92 mm x 64.3 mm x 35.75 mm (that’s 3.6 x 2.53 x 1.4 inches). It’s compact, wearable, and surprisingly easy to insert and remove. The shape is ergonomic, and while it doesn’t scream “luxury innovation,” the minimalist approach totally works here. It’s a wearable, not a spaceship. 😅
Charging is simple thanks to the magnetic USB charging cable, and yep – it’s fully IPX7 waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about cleanup or a steamy shower session. And of course, it syncs up with the We-Connect app, giving you control (or your partner control 😏) from anywhere in the world.
Nothing flashy. Nothing overcomplicated. Just a solid wearable that gets down to business.

Close… But Not Quite There
Let’s rewind to when Jive first joined our little toy family. I remember being both curious and excited – discreet wearable vibes always had my attention. A toy I could just pop in, go about my day, and feel like I had a dirty little secret buzzing inside me? Count me in. 😏
The first thing I noticed: he’s surprisingly comfortable. He’s not too big, not too bulky, and even though the silicone is on the firmer side (don’t expect that super soft squishiness here), it doesn’t poke or prod. He slides in easily, sits snug, and honestly – once he’s in, you kind of forget he’s there. In the best way. I’ve worn him around the house and outside and barely felt any discomfort.
But it’s not just about how he feels – it’s what he does that matters, right?
That First Buzz
Turning him on is easy. The external button is clicky and responsive. At first, the vibrations felt a bit underwhelming – level one is very soft. Like, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it soft. But once I cycled through the 10 available patterns, I found a few that really worked for me. They’re not overly fancy or complicated, but they do offer enough variety to suit different moods.
Here’s where he started to win me over: the rumbly motor. It’s deeper and more satisfying than I expected for such a compact toy. It doesn’t just tickle the surface – it resonates, almost like a low purr that settles into your body and builds slowly. That kind of vibration is rare in smaller toys, and Jive nails that part.
Playing Alone vs. With Karl
Alone? Easy win. I’ve used him just by pressing the button and letting him work his magic. If I’m feeling lazy, I’ll wear him around the house and just… enjoy the ride. Or I’ll pair him with a wand externally and let the dual stimulation push me over. (That combo? Absolutely killer. 🔥)
With Karl? It gets a bit more complicated.
Wearing Jive during penetration can work, but I wouldn’t say it’s ideal. Because of the toy’s shape and size, it tends to move around or get nudged during sex. Sometimes it adds to the sensation, but other times it just feels like a slightly awkward extra guest in a space that’s already pretty full. The best moments came when we used it during static play – me laying still, letting him take over while Jive just hummed away inside.
The Big Letdown: Remote Play
Now… the elephant in the room: the app connection.
I had dreams of spicy date nights where Karl would control the vibe from across the table. Or late-night teasing from different rooms in the house. But reality? Oof. The Bluetooth connection drops constantly. Just when you’re getting into the rhythm – buzz, it’s gone. Then you’re stuck fumbling with the app, trying to reconnect, praying it won’t kill the mood completely.
I’m not exaggerating when I say we stopped using Jive for remote play almost entirely. It’s that frustrating. Which is such a shame, because the idea is amazing, the app itself looks good, and it’s such a missed opportunity.
Vibe Check (Literally)
One final note: while Jive is definitely rumbly, I do wish he packed more of a punch at the highest setting. Sometimes I’m right on the edge, and I just need that last intense push… and he doesn’t quite deliver. With some external stimulation? Sure, I’ll get there. But solo? He teases and teases and sometimes just… leaves me hanging. 😅
And shape-wise? He’s comfy, but doesn’t hit any specific internal spots. He’s got that rounded egg shape, which doesn’t apply pressure in a targeted way. It’s more of a general "pleasant buzz everywhere" feeling, not a precise G-spot hit.

Pairing Jive with the We-Connect App is easy – at least in theory. Just hold the button on the toy for about five seconds until it enters pairing mode, and then connect it via Bluetooth to your phone. Once it’s linked, the app becomes your control center. And to be fair, it looks great – sleek, simple, and pretty intuitive, even for tech-challenged folks like me before coffee.
Once you're in, here’s what you can do:
- Adjust intensity on the fly – You’re not stuck with presets anymore. You can slide to the exact vibration level you want, which is super handy if you're feeling picky.
- Choose from a range of patterns – All 10 built-in modes are available, and you can switch between them and intensities smoothly without needing to touch the toy itself.
- Create your own custom vibes – You can record your own vibration rhythms by dragging your finger across the screen. This sounds cooler than it actually is (trust me, I made one that felt like a washing machine having a panic attack), but the option’s there!
- Sync with music – Yup, you can vibe to your favorite songs. Not super precise rhythmically, but the idea is fun, and the experience can be playful—especially during solo time.
- Control it remotely – The sexy long-distance feature. Send an invite to your partner and let them take control from anywhere in the world. (Or at least from the other side of the couch.) More on that in a sec…
- Two-way chat & video – There’s even a feature to chat and video call directly through the app while you play. It’s kind of hot in theory, like naughty FaceTime—but whether you use it or not, it’s nice to have.
So yes, feature-wise? Pretty solid.
BUT – and it’s a big but – we’ve got to talk about connectivity again. Because all this fancy stuff doesn’t mean much if the app keeps dropping the connection. And unfortunately, with Jive, it often does. 😓
It’s like the app wants to tease you more than the toy does. Just when things heat up, the app goes, “nope, time for a break.” Super frustrating when you’re trying to hand over control and stay in the moment. Especially compared to competitors like Lovense, who really nailed that stable Bluetooth + long-distance play game.
Also, while the We-Connect app is cute and colorful, it’s lacking in innovation. No AI features, no "learned preferences" and not much evolution since launch. It’s functional – but definitely showing its age.

Built to Last... Mostly 🔋✨
We’ve had our Jive for over five years now (yes, five!)—and honestly? He’s aged like a fine wine. 💅 The silicone still feels smooth and clean, there are no visible scuffs, tears, or cracks, and structurally? He’s holding it together like a champ. For a wearable that’s been through plenty of play sessions and some travel, that’s seriously impressive.
The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from We-Vibe: clean seams, satisfying finish, and a magnetic charging port that still clicks into place without fuss. That being said, we’ve noticed the battery doesn’t quite last the full 2 hours anymore—we’re more in the 70–90 minute range these days. But again, after this much use, we’re not mad about it. That’s still plenty of runtime to get the job done (or undone 😏).
Where Jive really shines is in the motor quality. Even after all these years, the vibrations are still strong, deep, and rumbly, not buzzy or weak like some budget toys. It’s one of the reasons we keep coming back to it, despite its flaws.
Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room: the app connection. We touched on this already, but it’s worth repeating. The constant Bluetooth dropouts are the one thing that takes this from “perfect toy” to “still good, but annoying sometimes.” If that were fixed? We’d honestly give it a solid A+ without hesitation.

The We-Vibe Jive typically lands somewhere between €80–120 (that’s around $85–130 USD depending on the site and the mood of international shipping 🫣). And look, if you manage to snag it under €100, we’d say go for it – you’re getting a solid, rumbly wearable with decent app features and great build quality.
But over €100? Ehh… now we’re getting into “is this the best bang for your buck?” territory. Because for that price point, there are definitely some strong contenders out there – Lovense Lush 3/4, for example, offers more intensity, better shape, and a significantly more stable connection (spoiler alert: it gets me off faster too 😅).
Don’t get us wrong – Jive is far from a bad toy. But if we’re talking value, it’s much easier to recommend when it’s on sale or at the lower end of that price range. Otherwise, you might want to save up a little more or look around for alternatives that bring more power and versatility to the table (or bed, or bathroom... you get it 😉).

Let’s talk about what really matters: Does Jive get me off?
Well… yes and no. 🤷🏽♀️
The vibrations are super rumbly and deep, which we love. They feel nice, they reach all the right zones internally, and for the most part, they’re really satisfying. But here’s the thing – sometimes I need just a bit more. That extra punch, that final oomph to push me over the edge? Jive doesn’t always have it. Alone, he teases me wonderfully – but doesn’t always seal the deal.
That’s where teamwork makes the dream work. 😏
We’ve found that Jive + external stimulation = 🔥. When Karl is involved and we’re combining clitoral play with Jive buzzing away inside, I can climax hard. And let’s just say… we’ve definitely tested that formula more than once. Couple approved.
Another point we need to mention – how stealthy he is. If you’re looking for a wearable that works out and about, Jive might just be your best buddy. Yes, the connectivity issues still suck (and we’ll keep moaning about that, sorry... 😅), but he’s whisper quiet. Seriously. In a café, walking down the street, or even sitting in traffic – the sound disappears into the background. That opens up a whole world of possibilities... if your phone connection doesn’t ruin the mood first. 🙃
So yeah, Jive performs – just not with fireworks every time. But when paired right and used smartly? He absolutely earns his place in our toy box.

You know we’re suckers for good packaging. And while Jive doesn’t exactly come with fireworks, it still hits that tech-toy luxury vibe pretty well. The box is made of a thick, slightly textured cardboard – nothing too wild, but definitely better than your average throwaway sleeve. That satisfying bit of resistance when you pull the lid off? Ugh, yes please. You know the feeling. Think new phone vibes. 🫶
Inside, the Jive is nestled in a white molded foam insert that holds everything in place neatly – minimal, classy, and practical. You’ll also find the magnetic charging cable, a cute little satin storage pouch (we’re fans), and the usual suspects: instruction booklet and a mini sachet of lube.
Design-wise, the box is soft and playful: pastel blue, white, and a hint of lavender. It feels calm, clean, and quietly sexy – like a toy that doesn’t need to scream “I’m a vibrator” to feel confident. We really like how polished it all feels. The only thing missing? A cheeky sticker or a fun little bonus. (Come on, We-Vibe – we’re not saying we deserve gifts, but we’re also kinda saying we deserve gifts. 😉)

Let’s start with the basics: the Jive is made from silky-smooth, body-safe silicone that’s phthalate-free, BPA-free, and latex-free. It has a matte finish that feels great against the skin – not squishy, but not too hard either. It’s got that nice, “cool to the touch but warms up quickly” vibe, and it glides easily with lube. And yes, it plays very nicely with water-based lubricants (avoid silicone-based ones to keep things long-lasting).
It’s also fully waterproof with an IPX7 rating, which means it can be fully submerged – making cleanup a total breeze. After each use, just give it a rinse with warm water and either a gentle soap or a trusted toy cleaner. Don’t overdo it with strong detergents – this little guy likes to be treated gently, especially considering how long it might be spending inside your body.
Pro tip from us: if you’re someone who’s prone to sensitivities or has a delicate vaginal ecosystem (there, we said it with science 😅), rinse it well and dry it thoroughly. The last thing you want is leftover residue hanging around during wear. After it’s dry, pop it back into its satin pouch to keep dust and lint away – and you’re all set for the next round.
We’ve been using ours for years, and this care routine has never failed us. No discoloration, no wear and tear – just one happy little wearable, ready to go whenever we are.

We’ve had both of these toys in rotation for a while now, and while they might look similar at a glance, the way they feel, function, and fit into our playstyle couldn’t be more different.
Shape & Internal Fit
Let’s start with how they sit inside. The Lush 3 has that signature, curved bulbous design that’s clearly aiming for one thing: the G-spot. And in my case? It hits. Every. Time. It presses in just the right place and stays put — no shifting, no guessing, just reliable, targeted pleasure.
The Jive, by comparison, is a little more subtle. It’s shaped more like a classic egg vibe — slender and smooth, with no pronounced curve. It’s definitely comfortable and super wearable, but it doesn’t press into any specific hot spot. It kind of vibes around the action rather than going straight for it.
Vibration Power
Okay, here's where it gets really interesting. People always assume Lush 3 is the stronger toy. And yes, it is powerful, especially at max intensity. But it leans more towards the buzzy end of the spectrum — think surface-level tingles that build up quickly but don’t always ripple deep.
The Jive, on the other hand, is way more rumbly. Even at lower settings, you get that low, resonant hum that feels like it’s echoing inside your body. It’s less punchy than Lush 3, but it’s definitely deeper — like a subwoofer versus a speaker. So depending on what your body responds to best, Jive might actually win this one.
App & Connectivity
Here’s the brutal truth: Lovense wins this round hands down. While the We-Connect app that powers Jive is functional, it’s also frustratingly basic — and don’t get us started on the connection drops. The Jive has a tendency to lose signal even when your phone is just across the room, which totally ruins the remote play vibe.
Lush 3, powered by the Lovense app, is just on a whole other level. Not only is it far more stable in terms of connection, but the app itself is loaded with features. We’re talking programmable patterns, sound and voice activation, music syncing, and even AI-based routines that adapt to your playstyle.
Plus, since Lovense has a much bigger user base, you’ve got access to a huge library of pre-made patterns and interactive options. The whole ecosystem is clearly built with long-distance and cam-friendly use in mind — and it shows.
Noise & Discretion
If you're planning a little public fun, Jive definitely gets bonus points here. It’s super quiet — we’ve worn it out in cafés, during walks, even at a small dinner party (don’t judge us 😅) and no one noticed a thing.
Lush 3 isn’t loud, but it’s got a bit more hum, especially at higher settings. And depending on your anatomy, it can sometimes shift a little when moving, which can be distracting. Jive is more “set it and forget it.”
Our Verdict?
Let’s be real: Lush 3 just hits different.
From shape to strength, it’s better aligned with my anatomy (Leni speaking here 👋), especially when I want strong G-spot pressure and those deep, satisfying vibrations. It’s not even about just power – it’s that Lush 3 actually delivers the kind of stimulation that gets me there. 💦
That said, the Jive still has its moments. It's way more discreet, the vibrations feel nice and low-pitched, and it's a great intro toy for people who don't need crazy intensity. But when we reach for a wearable toy for public play, teasing, or just general reliability? 9 times out of 10, we go with the Lush.
So yeah – Lush 3 wins this round for us.
But if you're curious about both or just getting started? Jive might still have a spot on your wishlist. 😉
At under €100 ($85–$110), the Jive makes sense as a mid-range wearable for casual fun or beginners looking to dip into app-controlled toys. But over that price point, we’d honestly lean toward the Lovense Lush 3. Better connectivity, stronger vibes, and smarter features make it the more future-proof choice.
Still, if what you’re after is that rumbly, deep bass-style internal stimulation in a quiet, wearable package? Jive might just hit the spot.
Let us know in the comments—are you Team Jive or Team Lush? Or is there another wearable out there we have to try next? 👀
