My verdict
It’s (as of my knowledge) the only one of its kind on the market. The plasma ball is a lot of fun to mess with, and for the price of a Plasma Ball Light you could get from the mall, you can have one that brings you a whole other kind of pleasure.
It’s definitely something I’m keeping in my toy rotation.
- Pros
- 1. The insert-able Vibrations are intense
- 2. The Plasma Ball is entertaining
- Cons
- 1. Plasma ball is too large
- 2. Price is a bit much
About the product
The Dragon’s Eye Plasma Ball Vibrator is the creation of Pleasure Engine, and from my research, one of the few companies with this type of toy. There are two independent motors for either side of the toy, making one side great for insertion play (though the instructions do say to not completely submerge)
It compares the Plasma Balls at Spencer Gift as the same concept. The plasma ball lights up *anywhere* it makes contact with skin, which I will talk more of with my experience.
Packaging
The packaging was a bit lack-luster. Standard plain white packaging, with the color of the toy being on the front of the box as well as the side. (I got a teal one.) There are one or two spelling mistakes on the outside, but that happens to the biggest of manufacturers. The toy is sitting in form fitting foam when you open the box, which is great in protecting the electronics.
Experience
I was a little disappointed with the vibrations on the plasma part. It’s definitely one that is great for build up and foreplay. The first time I turned it on, I ended up playing with the plasma ball without ever trying it on any sensitive bits. When it says it lights up with touching any skin, it means it, if you are trying to put it right against something that has folds around it (ergo: the clit) make sure that you only touch the part of the body you want the plasma to connect to, or you end up with the plasma trying to make contact with all different points on the skin and loses its “magical” feel.
The other side ended up having not only a stronger vibration, but it's also safe to insert! I found myself really enjoying the dragon scale side, and it didn’t take very long to find completion with this side.
Price
The product is fairly well-priced. It's something that I would expect to see at $39.99 instead of $45.99. It's not much of a difference but I definitely think that it's a little higher than it should be. If the plasma ball was a little bit smaller in diameter, I would be more apt to say the price is just right, or even a little cheaper than its worth!
