The entire prostate massager is covered in a black soft touch silicone which gives it a little cushion compared to plastic or metal toys. It has a large curved base and then a narrow short stem leading to two bulbs that are inserted. The stem pivots on the base so you can adjust the angle to what works best for your body, a unique feature compared to a lot of similar prostate massagers, and very appreciated. At the bottom of the base there is a single button to turn it on and off and change vibration patterns, along with two contacts for the charger. It has some decent heft to it because of the two vibration motors, one in the bulbs to directly stimulate the prostate, and one in the base for some extra external stimulation. I'll note that while the stem is pretty narrow, the bulbs are a little on the larger side which makes it hard to insert for a beginner.
I really enjoyed using this toy, the vibrations are nice and rumbly, and strong to the point where I had to turn down the maximum settings in the app. The flexible stem allows for positioning the bulbs to hit the prostate perfectly, which is so much better than any other prostate toy I've used in the past where you just have to hope the design works for your anatomy. It easily lasts through a normal play session with a 90 minute battery life, though the charging time is about the same which is unfortunate for extended sessions. This isn't a beginners toy so I won't go into the details of how to get into the right mindset for prostate play or how to use the muscles in the area properly, but for anyone interested I would definitely recommend researching that online before purchasing.
To use it, you first need to lube the bulbs and stem thoroughly and then slowly insert. Even lubing inside yourself can help because so much of the lube can be squeezed off during insertion. After that you really need to relax and stimulate the area a little bit with gentle pressure at first, and then some back and forth motions to slowly insert. After a few uses you can get a feel for the angle on the stem you need to hit the prostate perfectly, but starting with closer to a 75-90 degree angle is ideal. A sharper angle might hit the prostate dead on and apply more pressure, but it also tends to push out the toy a little bit and make it tricky to keep inserted.
After inserting, I like to hold off on the vibrations for a little bit to adjust, and then slowly ramp up with one of the variable patterns. The max vibration is almost too strong and you do NOT want to jump straight to it. The wave or step patterns are much better for ensuring you don't go numb while still getting enough of the rumbly vibrations. While the interior vibration motor is definitely the best part, the extra motor in the base adds some great external stimulation which you can sync up to the internal one or have offset. Just relaxing and letting the vibrator do the rest is really the best way to go and eventually you can get some great p-waves or even a hands free orgasm. While I have yet to get to that point, there are plenty of online testimonials to how well it works for that purpose.
I've used non-vibrating prostate toys which are great for a beginner, but I think I'll be hard pressed to go back after trying this one. The vibrations are deep and rumbly and the adjustable angle makes it fit just right.
As mentioned earlier, the whole device is made of black silicone aside from the two metal charging contacts on the base. This makes for a very easy clean up because you can use regular soap and water or an antibacterial toy cleaner to sanitize. You cannot use heat unlike some other silicone toys, because there are electronics within it, and it could damage the toy. Also, silicone can retain some scents even once thoroughly cleaned and disinfected which can be a little off putting. There are some methods for dealing with that, though these are not official or included in the instructions. Airing it out, or soaking in diluted vinegar or a baking soda solution can all help, or as a last resort a very diluted bleach solution. With any of these be sure to thoroughly rinse and soap down the toy again.
After its completely dry and aired out, storage is simple because it comes with a black drawstring bag that easily stores it and the cord. Because of the silicone exterior though it can catch on the bag and be a little annoying to get inside. The other option is the nice box that it comes with, which has a perfect foam cutout, and makes for a more normal shape to store.
Another thing to be aware of is the limitations on types of lube you can use. As it is a silicone covered toy, you cannot use silicone based lubes as this can damage it. Water or oil based lubes that are pH balances for anal are the ideal options. Even a hybrid lube has potential for damaging the toy so I would be careful.
This toy is bluetooth connected and I think that's a huge requirement for using it to it's fullest. The built in patterns are pretty basic but once connected to the app you can control the vibration strength, and each motor independently. There are also a ton of other features in the app like remote control, great for using with a long distance partner, or even a roulette feature where a random stranger can take control. You can sync it to music or video content or download vibration patterns that other people have posted. You can even sync it to other Lovense toys like a stroker, and have the vibrations synced up for dual sensations. Even ignoring all the extra features built into the app, the main vibration control is a must for properly using the toy and I would highly recommend it for the incredible customization it allows for.
