My verdict

The Bellesa Pebble is truly my favorite toy of all time. It’s compact, powerful, easy to use, easy to charge, perfect for partnered sex, and is all around the best friend you could have. The toy is a clitoral vibrator that uses pulsing suction to stimulate. It has an optional vibrating feature that works alongside the suction, adding a dimension to the toy’s sensations. It’s a relatively small toy, fitting easily in the palm of your hand. It comes in a discrete storage case that serves as a travel case, stores the toy while not in use, and allows you to charge it. It’s perfect for anyone who needs to be subtle with their sex toys or who travels. I’ve sworn by this toy since I bought it three years ago. Though I have had to replace it twice, roughly once a year, since I purchased it. This could totally be because I use it nearly every other day, sometimes several times a day–which I understand sounds ridiculous, but it is that good of a toy. It could be a quality issue, and we will discuss quality later, but I did not make this toy’s life easy.

Design

Bellesa is a female owned company that designs toys for bodies, resulting in aesthetically pleasing toys that sacrifice nothing for pleasure and comfort. The Pebble is shaped like a teardrop, roughly the length of an index finger. It’s designed for users to hold it in their palm, with their index finger running the length of the toy and the other fingers gripping it. Two buttons are placed on the back, in the perfect spot for your pointer finger to change intensity, turn on vibrations, or turn the toy on and off. It feels like an extension of your hand when you’re using it.

It’s a baby pink toy, with a rose gold stripe running down the side. The pink is made of soft silicone, and the rose gold is a hardened, metal-like plastic. The toy comes with a pink, circular case for storage and travel. It also charges inside the case, with a cable plugging into it while the toy is inside, allowing you to charge the Pebble without turning heads.

Experience

The Bellesa Pebble is the most reliable vibrator I’ve ever had. I always orgasm when I use it. It’s powerful, but never leaves me overstimulated. It’s simple to use, comfortable, and unintimidating. I have a difficult time orgasming, but with the Pebble I can pop them off one after another. The Pebble just feels like a toy made with a woman’s body in mind.

Quality

The Pebble by Bellesa is of excellent quality. The silicone is soft and smooth, the plastic case is durable, and all elements are easy to clean. As I mentioned, I have had to replace my Pebble twice. For background, when you charge the toy, you have to line up the connective charging dots on the toy with a matching set in the case. After a year, the dots on both became corroded and wouldn’t connect. This could be an issue with the quality, and Bellesa replaced it without question. However, to be on the safe side, I always let the toy fully dry after washing it before placing it in the case again.

The second time I had to replace the toy was entirely my fault. I used the toy so much that one of the buttons inverted and became difficult to find. It still works, but it’s not as easy to find the button in the moment anymore.

All in all, the materials are of good quality, but they require care. The warranty and 10-year guarantee help out a lot.

Price

The Bellesa Pebble is $79, and worth every penny. It comes with a one year warranty, where Bellesa will replace it free of charge. Afterward, their 10 year guarantee applies, where for any reason they will replace it for 50% of the cost of a new one. They often have sales, where the Pebble is 50% off and comes with a second free vibe, so definitely keep an eye out for those sales.

Performance

I originally bought the Pebble to bring with me while I backpacked through Europe and Asia since it’s advertised as the perfect travel-size vibrator. It came in a carrying case and was TSA-approved, making it the best travel companion. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. It’s a powerful suction toy with five intensities for both air pulsation and vibration. The air pulsing intensity is strong from the start, it’s lowest setting sort of rumbles to life, but is targeted through the head, creating gentle suction. Its easy to change the intensity, the button is right there. Since the toy is crafted to feel natural in your hand, it’s unbelievably comfortable to use. Turning on the vibrating setting adds an extra dimension to the suction stimulation. I rarely use the toy without the suction on, but it does work as a straight-up vibrator if you want something less intense. It’s waterproof and perfect to use in the shower! It’s also so comfortable to use that it’s a no-brainer in partnered sex.

Materials and care

The Bellesa Pebble is waterproof, making it so easy to clean. Just warm water and soap or toy cleaner. But make sure you let it dry fully before putting it back in the case! Both to keep the charging port in good condition and ensure cleanliness. And always wash it after every use, especially the inside of the suction head.

Bgood Classic Vibrator: Gotta Love a Classic
Whoa. That baby purrs. I don’t know what screw is loose or if it’s a genius classic design, but the vibrations from Bgood Classic purr. That’s the only word for it. It feels almost like there's space between the motor and the walls of the toy, letting the vibrations reverberate through. It makes the vibrations feel deep and sensual. Not to mention, this toy has horsepower. Bgood was not playing around when they made this toy. But it’s strong and loud, and when you’re done, it’s not fun to fumble around. If the materials were higher quality, it might feel more luxurious and have a longer battery life. Iroha Stick: Kitschy but Effective
The Iroha Stick has a shocking amount of power and is cleverly designed. But it’s too gimmicky for my taste. Overall, it’s a simple mini bullet vibrator designed to look like lipstick. I don’t think it’s fooling anyone, although if someone found it in my bag, it might take them a moment to realize. The head of the stick is angled like lipstick but has a small fork like a snake's tongue at its end. The angle and fork really elevate the toy as a whole. The Stick packs a punch, it can ramp up quite a bit. I’d say the equivalent of a three or a four on a regular-sized toy. It is battery powered and claims to be waterproof–I’ll get into that later in the review. For what it is, a lipstick vibrator, it’s great. We all have our own kitsch thing that will always get our attention. Lipstick vibrators aren’t mine, so I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this one again. However, it would be a fun gift for a bachelorette party or something similar!

Iroha Koharu Beni: Cute but Boring
The Iroha Koharu Beni is nothing special. It’s your average battery powered vibrator. There’s nothing about it that stands out to me as noteworthy. It’s decently powerful, which is always nice. The shape is interesting, I haven’t seen something exactly like it before. But that’s the problem, really. I’ve seen a lot of vibrators similar to this, some of which stood out for their design, comfort, or quality, but the Koharu Beni is just okay. It’s one saving grace is it’s flexible head, though it isn’t as elastic as a flexible head should be. You want freshly baked sourdough that crunches on the outside and is soft on the inside. You don’t want store brand white bread. Ava VIVVO Massage Wand: Impatient Need Not Apply
If I wanted to speak Morse Code, I’d buy a Ham radio, not a vibrator. Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautifully designed, high-quality vibrating wand. However, I have a very specific personal issue with this toy. The wand has 20 patterns, and while I appreciate that each pattern is nuanced and probably appeals to users who have been looking for that specific “dot dot dash” vibration, I could have done without 18 of them. For me, the first and eighteenth vibration patterns are the ones I want. And I’d love to be able to start with one, go to the other, and go back and forth until I’m tired. But I can’t do that with the Ava VIVVO Wand because I have to cycle through all the patterns to find the right one. And because they’re all so similar, I easily miss the one I’m looking for and have to cycle through all 20 again. This probably sounds so petty, but when you need that little shift in vibration, you don’t want to click through 17 that are just “meh.” I think this part of the design is bothersome enough to ruin the toy entirely.
