Speaking With Brian Pellham, CEO of Kheper Games, Inc.

Along with amping up your couple fun with a toy built just for foreplay or sitting around with a group of friends coaxing some round-robin buzzing with remote control vibrators, friends and neighbors could just as easily avail themselves of a whole host of naughty games from Kheper Games, Inc.
Just releasing their Hustler 50 Years of Centerfolds cards, a set of female nude casino quality playing cards featuring a centerfold image from each of Huster’s first 50 years of centerfolds, CEO Brian Pellham and his company, celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, has once again presented something truly unique.
Brian started Kheper Games (known as Kheper Publishing way back when) in 1994. “I wrote A Partier's Guide to 51 Drinking Games, but I could not get someone to publish it,” he says of the company’s beginnings. “So,I self-published it myself and went on to sell 500,000+ copies.”
He adds with a chuckle, “I wish I had saved my rejection letters.”The adult game company does indeed follow Brian’s passions, being the company’s content creator, as also trends of the day. For instance, when Squishy Toys were all the rage Kheper released their Squishy Dicky, Squishy Booby, and Squishy Balls.
“Otherwise,” Brian offers. “We try to have games for all adult occasions and all price points.” And after his researching and writing four games books, he found his games also, “lent themselves to board game versions.”
As any sex toy retailer surely knows, competition in the adult marketplace is at an all-time cutthroat edge. The proliferation of website upon website offering all manner of naughty stuff, and posts and visuals coming at us from every quarter of social media, see consumers facing a constant barrage of products.
How then does Kheper compete with the virtual world…if they do at all?
“We don’t really complete so much for actual game play,” Brian says. “Our games are social for party and sexual for the romance games. On the party side though we are finding it more important to have videos and demonstrations though on social media.”
It seems Kheper releasing twenty new products a year is the company’s sweet spot for assuring the uniqueness of their product and keeping to the company's high-quality standards; besides, Brian needs time to develop his ideas and then make them real. As for the company’s next few steps, “There will be a 30% off sale as also special events celebrating our milestone during shows, such as the July ANME,”
