- Price1.2/5
- Noise3.5/5
- Duration of use360 minutes
- Charging time240 minutes
- Pros
- 6 hour run time, 20 settings and 8 intensities! My legs are guaranteed to be jelly in some fashion!
- Long handle allows various areas, sensual and non-sensual, to be reached with ease!
- Elegant esthetics allows it to pass as a regular personal massager, no need to hide it in a drawer!!
- Say hello to a new shower/bath massager! Waterproof/resistant to help ease that tension even more!
- Will remember the last settings you had it on so you can keep going next time you pick it up!
- Cons
- Not the first toy I'd reach for if I just wanted a personal clitoral stimulator. A bit over the top.
- Would prefer the power button feature was a hold to turn on/off rather than a press to turn on/off.

As an everyday personal massager, the Ava Evo feels amazing! I love the variety of patterns/intensities and the fact that I can feel my knots, stress and tension just melt away. It's vastly superior to the handheld massager I own, and unlike that one, this one is definitely MY massager.
As a more personal massager, the Ava Evo also feels amazing! I have found clitoral stimulation to be quite erotic, satisfying and quick with results lately. The fact that I can also use it as a bit of a penetration toy as things get ramped up is also quite nice. I've found that as the external area gets more excited the internal starts craving attention.
Compared to the Swan Sceptre I find this product to be vastly superior on every level, which I get into in more detail below. With the Ava Evo it's nice to have the penetration feature encompass the powerful vibrations the product is capable of as the penetrative handle of the Swan Sceptre was vastly lacking in that area.
Another feature I love is the fact that it retains the memory of the last settings it was on. Since the power button can easily be pressed on accident during a session, it's nice to know that it can be turned back on and things can keep going. Nothing is more of a bummer than having all of these settings and having to cycle back through each time it's accidentally turned off while in use. One fix is having to hold the power button to turn the device on/off, and apparently the other is memory retention!

Ava's packaging is simple, sweet and quite pretty! Each of the three packages I received were extremely similar: beautiful pastel colors are wrapped around the box in an almost aura like manner; their simple, elegant and very subtly suggestive logo is inline with their name and the product name on the front; 8 little icons and their description occupy one side; the backs invites you to "come alive" in a slightly different way as each box has a small paragraph about their product as well as a few bullet points regarding the features; and the last side involves the phrase "come alive".
There was one big difference between this package and the other two... An opaque window in the front of the box allowing the product to be vaguely seen. Since it was shipped, they discretely wrapped the entire box in a white sewn fabric so that it could still be opened privately. I find that to be an awesome and thoughtful touch by the company!
Of the three products I received from them, if they had to show any off, I was happy that this was the one they showcased in someway. The other two definitely scream "I'm really a dildo" when they're opened, while this product genuinely looks like a fancy massager that someone might find as a complimentary feature in a pricey 5 star suite lol. Being a shy person when it comes to sexual products, I really appreciate the nuances, discrepancy and care that Ava puts into their packaging and showcasing.
Idk why I'm a sucker for magnetic boxes, but I am, something about it feels fancy and makes the box weirdly worth keeping for upcycling purposes, especially when the box opens like a storybook or keepsake box. And if you haven't caught on to how weird I am about packaging lately, you clearly haven't read enough of my reviews lol ><'.

Inside the package: The product itself, a discreet white carrying bag, a charging cable, and an instruction manual.
Overall, I like that the contents were as simple as the product itself and I love the feel of the satin pouch that came with this product, it feels as sophisticated as the product looks.
The Ava Evo boasts 20 pleasure patterns, 8 intensities and a 6 hour run time! With this many settings it should be easy for newcomers and experienced toy users to find one that helps relieve their tension the best!
Last month I received the Swan Sceptre which boasted itself as a personal massager with dual ends. So let's do a comparison!
Material - Tie
- Ava Evo - Medical Grade Silicone
- Swan Sceptre - 100% Premium Silicone
Waterproof Settings - Tie?
- Ava Evo - No actual rating provided. Claims to be water-resistant and other customers boast bringing it into the shower with no problems
- Swan Sceptre - IPX7
Run Time - Ava Evo Wins!
- Ava Evo - Up to 360 mins
- Swan Sceptre - Up to 210 Mins, On Low Speed
Charging Time and Indicator - Swan Sceptre Wins!
- Ava Evo - 240 min charge time, indicated by the blinking LEDs staying solid when the charge is complete.
- Swan Sceptre - 120 min charge time, indicated with the two buttons lighting up during charge and turning off when the charge is complete.
Size - Ava Evo Wins!
- Ava Evo - Smaller head that pinpoints sore muscles when used as a normal massager, is more penetration friendly and is a more personal clitoral stimulator
- Swan Sceptre - Quite cumbersome, not as easy to hide or travel with.
Vibration Settings - Ava Evo Wins - Personal Preference
- Ava Evo - 20 settings and 8 intensities, powerful, feels great, and is not obnoxious on highest settings when laid down on a surface.
- Swan Sceptre - Guesstimate of 30 settings, powerful, feels great, but is super obnoxious when on highest setting and laid down.
Penetration Ability - Ava Evo Wins - Personal Preference
- Ava Evo - Surprisingly insert friendly though obviously not very deep... just the tip ;P lol.
- Swan Sceptre - The rounded end is not insert friendly at all, waaaaaay too big. The lack of vibration in the longer end makes it a bit boring to use. I've learned during this journey that if I'm going to use a penetration toy, I prefer a vibrating one over a plain do nothing dildo, if that's the case I'd rather use my fingers or an actual penis lol.
Ease of Use Regarding Vibration Settings - Ava Evo Wins!
- Ava Evo - Two button operation makes finding the right settings quite easy! One button is completely dedicated to selecting the preferred pattern, while the other is dedicated to finding the right intensity. Power button is a completely separate third button. Remembers the chosen setting when turned off and then back on.
- Swan Sceptre - Easy but not as much variety. It's a singular vibration with a two button operation for the intensity, one to increase and the other to decrease. The power button is the same button used to increase the intensity. When the device is turned off and back on, the intensities must be cycled through again to find the preferred setting.
Ease of Use General Sense - Ava Evo Wins!
- Ava Evo - Smaller vibration head that makes it easier to focus with, easy to find the right pattern and intensity, lightweight and easy to handle, and is penetration friendly.
- Swan Sceptre - Bulbous vibration head that encompasses a large area, easy to increase and decrease intensity, cumbersome to handle since it's top heavy, and the handle can be used as dildo.
Overall Winner by Personal Preference - Ava Evo!
